Khaleda Zia's admission to BSMMU:
BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia has recommended hospital doctor to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) Hospital Medical Board for her. BSMMU Director Prof Abdullah Al-Harun told the press conference at noon on Sunday. He said, with some recommendations, the medical board sent their report to the authorities. Professor Harun said that BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia was ill, following the medical board's supervision. However, this illness is not due to being in jail.Before the prison, Khaleda Zia had many problems. He said, Khaleda Zia's illness is not serious. BSMMU director said, Boddesk has recommended that the hospital should have treatment for all the diseases, in lieu of Khaleda Zia. They also recommended the name of BSMMU.
Khaleda Zia has also been recommended to conduct some health checks.On September 9, a delegation led by BNP secretary general Mizor Fakhrul Islam Alamgir met Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal and requested Khaleda Zia to be treated at a special hospital in the capital. After that, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan said at the press conference that there will be a medical board for the treatment of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia. According to the Home Minister's assurance, a medical board of five members was formed in Khaleda Zia's treatment.The members of the Boarder went to the jail around 4pm and took Khaleda's health check up. Professor Abdul Jalil Chowdhury (Internal Medicine), Professor Harsul Haque (Cadreology), Professor Abu Zafar Chowdhury (Orthorozaddi Sajirr), Associate Professor Tareq Reza Ali (Eye) and Associate Professor Badrunnessa Ahmed are present at the Medical Board formed in the treatment of Khaleda Zia(Physical Medicine).Party's Standing Committee member and former Health Minister Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain said yesterday that they are not satisfied with this medical board. He also said that the medical board formed by the government will not be properly and properly treated. He also demanded a new medical board by including those who treated Khaleda Zia before.Khandker Musharraf complained that the Home Minister had given them a statement, a medical board by some private doctors of Khaleda Zia and some doctors of government.
